Description
The Vanyarin Elf-maiden Amarië was the beloved of Finrod Felangund. She stayed in Valinor when he went into exile to Middle-earth. After Finrod was slain, he was re-embodied in the Halls of Mandos and reunited with Amarië.
For the bakground I was inspired by my favorite quote in The Return of the King, told by Gandalf to Pippin: "The gray rain-curtain of this world rolls back and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it ... white shores. And beyond... a far green country under a swift sunrise"
Those lines were taken from The Fellowship of the Ring book, where Frodo dreams of Valinor.
I'm a bit fustrated 'cause lately I have started three photomanipulations which I did not feel like finishing... But today I could start and finish this one, which has helped me forget about the others for a while.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactHmmm I really , REALLY like this piece. The colors , especially in the sky are just gorgeous. OMG that sky is lovely. I like the shadows in the foreground drawing in your attention to the figure in the grass. Really focuses the perspective without taking away from the drawing. the expression on the figure really captures the emotion of the title I think.
I rated this manip almost perfect because it is so damn lovely and griping. And I'm keep my review shorter than usual cuz there really isn't ANYTHING I could suggest on or change about it.
