Description

The other day I was rememoring one of my favorite videogames, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and how much I loved the Forest Temple. I don't know how many times I have played it but I've got to do it again! lol

I'm going to try and make this a shorter critique that the ones I usually ramble" uh I mean write" <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)" />

I was looking over a previous critique and thinking on this piece. Again I would explain how wonderful it all is and why I think so, and tbh it seems to me that I'm just praising the work and the the artist. [Yep, yep keep it in the comment section fanboy ]

Overall this is a wonderful work, As in most pieces from this artist, the image just seems to take me to that place. The colors just invoke the thoughts of green and lush without having to use "leaf green" in the paint bucket or be a close up of a leaf. I can't say I would change colors or shadows or any of the images. so technique and Impact get 5's.
vision and originality get 4.5 because while it's wonderfully done it's based off the game.
I think the one thing I would do different myself if I was trying to do an image myself is do more of a landscape view than a portrait view. Just because I would want to see more of the forest and the temple <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)" />
I can't fault the artist for the portrait view though. since it is the temple of time and the portrait view seems to invoke a single moment in time of the guardian waiting for the hero.
Overall a most enjoyable work <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="15" height="13" alt="" title="Heart" />
